As we all know, we humans have five senses: touch, smell, hearing, taste, and sight. As I have looked at all of you, it appears that you all have all five of your senses. However, have you ever imagined what life would be like if you did not have one of the five that you currently possess? Imagine that! Therefore, the question for this week is if you had to lose one of your five senses, which would it be and why?
Instructions
Every Monday morning, I will post the topic for you to write about. Once you have read my topic, you will need to write your responses on your own blog. Your responses ought to be 2-3 paragraphs in length, but you should not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. Be sure to title each blog entry with "Topic #__:" and then your own title.
Next, you will need to comment on your classmates' blogs. Each student needs to leave a 2-3 sentences comment on two other students' blogs in order to receive credit per week.
On a final note, these blogs are intended to be fun and to allow you to display your creativity. Be adventurous and express yourselves! Although we may occasionally use some of your blog entries for grammar practice, these blogs are primarily focused on content. Therefore, have fun!

Topic #3: Popularity, Accomplishment, or Organization?

Although there are many things which we consider to be important, I would like to ask about the three in this week's title. Out of the three - popularity, accomplishment, and organization, which is most important to you? Do you think being popular and having a lot of friends is most important in life? How about accomplishment? Do you think it is crucial to be able to accomplish all that you set out to achieve? Finally, organization. Is it most important to be organized in all that you do? Which of these is most important in your opinion and why? Are you living by one of these? Monday, September 9, 2013
Topic #2: Time Travel
Hollywood has come out with several movies that are about time travel; for instance, we have 12 Monkeys, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Butterfly Effect, etc. Have you ever thought about going back into time? If you could go back in time as yourself to observe any single event from history, what would you want to witness? Why this particular event? Would you want this event to be altered in any way? Would you try to alter the past?

Topic #1: What do You Want to be Remembered for?
I apologize for making our first blog such a grave topic, but my question to you is as the title reads. What do you want to be remembered for after you pass away? I am sure we all want to be remembered in a certain way, so do you feel that you are living your life right now well in that direction? For me, there are many attributes I want to be remembered for. If I were to write them all down, it might take a while! Therefore, I am going to mention one, and that is persevering. I want to be remembered as one who never wanted to give up and continued to strive forward even when situations did not appear so bright. I realize that life can be challenging and tough many times. Nonetheless, I believe we need to continue forward and not dwell within those situations.
What about you??
Hello and Welcome!
